GM Wants $1.00 a Gallon Additonal Taxes

Big Problem: They are "at the table". If anyone else suggested this they'd be run out of town on a rail.
Obvioulsy, electic cars need to be made more affordable by making your perfectly good car unaffordable to drive.Obama: The rich have the Federal Reserve and the poor have Harry Reid... LOL. Life really is unfair!

I'd go along with that IF:
a) The cash for clunkers program was brought back, but this time limited to folks under an income cap
b) Folks were issued gas vouchers if they were not able to trade a clunker... (under the same cap)

Sometimes you need to be careful what you wish for ................
People are pissed off enough about the rise in gas prices. Another dollar are really going to put some folks in a very compromising condition. Gas, food or medicine.......

Do you think for a minute if the government gleaned more money out of everyone, anything would change?
We'd all be poorer, the government just as wasteful and inept.
