BATTLE FOR LIBYA: Rebels Take Tripoli as Regime Crumbles
Libyan Rebels Seize Tripoli, Two of Gadhafi's Sons Captured - ABC News
Rebel forces took control of much of Tripoli tonight, and thousands flooded the streets of the Libyan capital and other cities around the country to celebrate what they hope will be the end of Moammar Gadhafi's 42-year reign.
"We were waiting for the signal and it happened," Nour Eddin Shatouni, a 50-year-old engineer celebrating the apparent collapse of the strongman's regime, told The Associated Press. "All mosques chanted 'God is great' all at once. We smelled a good scent, it is the smell of victory. We know it is the time."

In judging a two-person singing contest, never award the prize to the second soprano having heard only the first.

Well, first we have to see if Moammar Gadhafi is:
1. Gonna fight it out to the last drop
2. Pull a Saddam and find a hole in the ground
3. Shack up in an African country that will not extradite him to the Hague/or wherever
4. Take that long overdue vacation to Latin America and shack up with Hugo Chavez
5. Try to outdo ancient Japanese defeated warriors and end it all spectacularly
Secondly, and probably more interesting will be to see what inherited government we get.
Then on to Syria!!
The final legacy of the United States will be that in the end liberalism shamed & destroyed the heritage of this great nation. How sad as I see no turning back. When in Rome ..
