    Why should we have a "super committee" outside the bounds of regular committees in congress?

    What has happened is the lobbyists now have only 12 people to buy off, instead of 535, and the remaining 523 members are reduced to lobbying for their interested before the committee.

    The Constitution speaks not of committees at all. So how is a Super-Committee any less representative than the regular committee system? Since the representatives of Congress must still vote on the final proposal, it's representative.
