The fact Zimmerman - a democrat Latino - hasn't been charged is because the police are investigating. It is apparently not as "slam dunk" as many here and those among the Black Panthers say it is.
When the investigation is complete, he will either be charged or he won't, but the reasons will be made public.
So everyone can return their ropes to Walmart. Hopefully they will be on sale next time.

You know, all this discussion and conjecture are moot points.
If he gets charged and convicted, he'll be in solitary. Put him in general population , he'll last as long as the flash of a firefly.
If he walks, some dude's going to even the score, if not for anything else , than bragging rights.

Also, in a regular state where regular people make regular rules (instead of terminator-esque idiocy that has been enacted in Florida), he would have been arrested on the spot. Guy on the scene with a weapon and not denying he shot the other guy? I believe the DA would call that a slam dunk.
Good job, friend-of-friends!

Tony, if you know what went down, the I suggest you report it to the police. They are looking for witnesses. If not, you don't know squat and you are no better than the Black Panther squad issuing a "hit" on Zimmerman."The world burns while Obama Tweets."

Again assuming Zimmermans account The following sounds to have been done at quite a distance because zimmerman lost Trayvon. How far do you have to be from someone to lose them? 50 feet? 100 feet? If you are walking behind someone 50 feet is it ok to punch them out?
I don't know what happened that night. But I do know even with the lynchmob out there of impartial autorities no charges have been filed. So my guess is it ain't as cut and dry a case as you zimmerman haters think it might be.
So what an over zealous neighborhood watch person follows you? It does not give you the right to go beating on them???
I hope Zimmerman is guilty because he almost certainly is gonna be lynched regardless.

"Assuming he broke off pursuit and was heading back to his car or looking for an address?"
That's one of the things that stinks to high heavens about this... That that is what his dad the judge offered in defense of him being out of his car.
A. This guy was the neighborhood watch "Captain" and considering he made 46 calls to the police in 2011 alone, I'm guessing he had a pretty good lay of the land.
B. In these small communities an intersection is more than sufficient to get the police to where they need to be. And again, see A.
C. I didn't realize you had to get out your car and walk around to figure out an address. They are prominently featured on houses and mailboxes so people can see them from the street.
D. There wasn't any sort of exchange like that with the dispatcher he was on the phone with that I am aware of.
That "excuse" makes this smell even worse.

According to the family friend an spokesman (I don't know his name) but he says if you listen to the whole tape he is following the Trayvon apparently at a distance, when he is told to stop. he replies ok but continues walking until he can identify the address. he was behind the complex I think and addresses were not apparent.
Again it is all internet information and second hand so I don't know. I will continue to reserve judgement.
The media is not providing anything but speculation, iffy inflametory stuff, stories taylored for effect and pundints.
We actually know nothing. Well nothing beyond 4 things, Two people came to blows, One got shot, and the names of the participants, and no arrest has been made yet.
I don't even know if the police had dropped the case or just decided to release Zimmerman until they had a case on him.

It common courtesy to have a charge that will stick before you arrest someone... but who cares?"The world burns while Obama Tweets."

I am sorry contrary to the narrative being portrayed in the media. It sounds like he was never even close to Trayvon.
When the police told him to break of pursuit he says OK. If Trayvon came into contact with Zimmerman he would appear to be the aggressor.
He is still in the car when Trayvon begins running. I got the impression from the media that Trayvon was being chased down by Zimmerman.
I am way back to the fence right now the guy on the tape does not seem like he was a guy chompin at the bit to hunt someone down.

Registered Dem Killed Trayvon | Washington Free Beacon
The reports are basically all over the place. Do you only read the comics?
You just shoot from the hip at anything that drives by without even attempting to see if what someone said was true.
Assume that most people don't just "make shit up". Most people have a source. Some are better than others, but at least that is a place to start before you Google of a rebuttal."The world burns while Obama Tweets."

I just read a second report of a celebrity Tweeting an Address for Zimmerman. Yesterday it was Spike Lee today it looks like Rosanne Barr.
The entire Zimmerman, Martin situation is sad but it need to be handled by the legal system not by the mob! What Rosanne and Spike did is utterly atrocious! They are both knowingly putting people's lives in danger. Spike actually tweeted the wrong address, apparently it was an elderly couple that was then confronted by a mob of people and harassed.
IMO there should be lawsuits and charges filed here, especially in Lee's case. They should be held accountable for their actions! What would have happened if someone would have gotten hurt or killed yesterday because of what Lee did. Does anyone think he'd put himself up for accountability?

He apologized and paid for their hotel stay and some other things, but IMO that doesn't make up for what he did nor does it in anyway hold him accountable. I'm going to bet he got a quick call from his lawyer telling him how much shit he'd be in if something happened.
