Question Why do people hate NATO?

So what's the beef with people hating NATO? I don't understand it. Are these people anti-U.S. then? Because NATO is part of the U.S. ?

No, NATO is not part of the US.

Eh, when you consider it from a theoretical imperial perspective, it's actually accurate.

    LOL.

NATO represents what's wrong with our foreign policy. Entangling treaties and alliances and all that. It's also indicative of the what some refer to as the "New World Order". The world's nations are becoming too interdependent. Our autonomy is threatened and we end up either a) using NATO as an excuse to get involved in skirmishes, or b) getting pulled into actions because we are obligated to.

The things that people in Chicago had to go through for the recent summit are off the charts. They should hold all future summits in Siberia during the month of January.
