    Exclamation The CDC has officially said there is NO Zombie Apocalypse!

     
    Even though there has been 5, count them - 5 reports, of cannibalism this past week,

    To have five such incidents dominate the news cycle -- as was the case this week -- seems almost unprecedented.

    All but one of the following cases are alleged crimes. They range from an international manhunt for a suspect accused of chopping up and eating his male partner to a chef who severed and served his own testicles.

    In the slideshow below, HuffPost Crime offers a round-up of the murder suspects and alleged flesh-eaters who captivated our readers this week with tales of horror.
    The CDC has even come out reporting There IS no Zombie apocalypse happening!
    The agency announced it does not know of "a virus or condition that would reanimate the dead" or one that would present zombie-like symptoms.
    The word "yet" hangs in the air though.

    Still, EVERYBODY can now relax!!
