How much energy does the average American use

excluding industry. How much energy does the average American citizen use to get to work, play video games, mow the lawn, climate control their house, heat the pool, watch TV...

What percentage does that make up of the amount of energy consumed.

every site I see kinda divides gallons in across population. But I was curious if anyone knew where to find the amount of difference individuals could change this equation through their own personal consumption.

Does business and industry use 90% of the energy or 30%

Thanks but that is just home electricity.

I guess we could assume that everything that is not used by industy is what is used by everyone else but i have not found that metric either.

I would like to know how much energy american citizens use in their daily life and ideally I would love to know how that number stacks up to other countries.

Also is that KWH the total american KWA divided across population or is it consumer electric.

Epi - list the first 27 terms you used when you Googled for this info...

I just now Googled-> energy consumption per capita

List of countries by energy consumption per capita

Its old (2003) but odds are you can find a newer version..

Will be interesting to hear about what you'll do with the data when you get it
Imagine a world where dogs took bad owners to the pound...
