The resolution does not mention the word "marriage" and it does not alter the church's standard liturgy for a marriage between a man and a woman, but offers an alternative liturgy for blessing same-sex couples.

Hey I am all for same sex unions. But I am not sure how I can see a christian organization coming to the conclusion they are going to support it.

I can see a good christian not supporting making it illegal but I can't see how a church could sanction it. isn't this akin to, ummmm, say sanctioning devil worship or including using the lords name in vane during certain church services.

It simply goes against doctrine
