Shouldn't the USA Olympic team be dressed in American made clothes?
Do they REALLY have to wear uniforms from China?
Also: Why Berets?Team USA To Be Decked Out in Uniforms Made in China - ABC News
They are the pride of America — Team U.S.A. — and for the opening ceremonies of the Summer Olympics in London, they’ll be proudly wearing red, white and blue, from beret to blazer.
The classic American style — shown in an image above — was crafted by designer Ralph Lauren. But just how American is it?
When ABC News looked at the labels, it found “made in China.”They say technology slows down for no one. I know it outruns my wallet. I figure its because my wallet isn't light enough yet.

Just WRONG in so many ways . . .
Don't know about the berets . . . even the Army has gotten rid of it for the most part. The only ones wearing the beret now, are Airborne, Ranger, and Special Forces.
BTW, I wore a beret in the Army for a short time back in the late 70's, early 80's. Anyone want to guess which/color beret I wore?

Airborne.
Might be a silly question, but are the uniforms they need even made by anyone in the US? It could simply be that there are no specialized manufacturers of that nature here. It would surprise me, but I thought I'd throw it out there.

And you think Nikes are made in the USA?

Speaking of Nike:
Nike announces that Joe Paterno Child Development Center name will be changed
Nike announced today it was removing Joe Paterno's name from its child care center on its world headquarters campus near Beaverton.
The sports equipment and apparel company made the announcement just hours after the release of a devastating report about Penn State University officials' conduct in the Jerry Sandusky scandal.

That's a shame. And what is with the stupid berets? They always wear them.
I wore a red beret in Army ROTC.

If our athletes had ANY nads, they'd ditch the Chinese junk and wear good ole American blue jeans and a "Forget Hell !!" tee shirt. But, I have no faith in this , younger generation.

Would that amount to a price fixing cartel? Even though the prices aren't so much fixed, but MS demands at least x amount of repeat sale fee from each resale. Ford would probably like to get a cut...
