Republicans are complaining about Democrats' campaign tactics, while Democrats are talking about a topic they much prefer to defending the Obama economy. Reid doesn't need defenders for his real message to penetrate, and Romney's refusal to release more than two years' worth of taxes keeps the issue open for exploitation.

"I do know that Mitt Romney could clear this up in 10 seconds by releasing the 23 years of tax returns that he gave to John McCain when he was being vetted for vice president," Democratic National Committee Chairman Debbie Wasserman Schultz responded on "This Week."

I think Romney should call on congress men and women and Wasserman Shultz to release theirs.

Romney should release his one year at a time, and call for a corresponding release from congressmen and keep congress on trial! I can see the outcry from the MSM now!

Why are all these people millionaires on $ 175k a year? Where are all the "ethics whiners"?

My opinion is that the real goal is to find out how much he gives to Mormon charities. That's what they want to use against him in the media. Tax charges are great for a MSM smear. They are complicated and easy to manipulate without challenge. The media ignored Tim Geithner's lack of tax paying "expertise".
