Do you think schitzophrenia may be linked to many conspiracy theorists?

I was looking at the defintion of Schitzophrenia and it would seem like the disease would very easily spawn such yarns.

Looking at the obsession that JP and SJ had with linking all negative events to some sort of global NWO plan.

Following SJ's twitter and Facebook has lead me to think he might have a problem. with virtually every post (daily) being related to another conspiracy or fear of the power.

    What do you think.

Personally I think that I can't believe you are just realizing this

But yes, while the two cannot directly be proven to be linked at this time (to my knowledge) I can definitely see how they would go hand in hand.

well I always felt that there was a breakdown in reason associated with the conspiracy crowd. I just never really went so deep as to look at specific diseases.

Is Alex Jones afflicted with the disease or is he just taking advantange of those who are?

I am also not claiming that all Conspiracy theorists are Schizophreniacs and I am not contending all people suffering from schizophrenia are conspircy nutz.

I think you can dabble at the fringe of conspiracy theories and possibly conclude that some of them have merrit. but when you start to believe heaps of them, you have to start questioning the rational thought process.
