White House Pulls Down TSA Petition
EPIC - White House Pulls Down TSA Petition
Was it by accident, or a deliberate attempt to stop the voices of the people from being heard? At approximately 11:30 am EDT, the White House removed a petition about the TSA airport screening procedures from the White House "We the People" website. About 22,500 of the 25,000 signatures necessary for a response from the Administration were obtained when the White House unexpectedly cut short the time period for the petition. The site also went down for "maintenance" following an article in Wired that sought support for the campaign. They say technology slows down for no one. I know it outruns my wallet. I figure its because my wallet isn't light enough yet.

I don't trust this administration, not one bit!

Yet you trust Fox news... Somewhere, something in your brain has gone terribly wrong.
Not that I trust the current, past or future government all that much at this point either.

I missed the part where high ratings somehow meant "fact based news coverage."
Titanic had the highest profit of any movie, but that doesn't make it a fact based documentary.Good job, friend-of-friends!

And CNN is fact based????
BS!
I guess a lot of people in this country don't watch "fact based news." I guess you're the all knowing one.
All praise Tony!

I don't watch any news . . . or TV!
I read a lot, but get my news from outside MSM.

Actually, CNN is going through a change in management. Their six viewers have noticed something is changing!
Actually, CNN is changing.
They are going to be a little more "happy faced" and not so serious and "scowly" all the time. I think I saw Wolf Blitzer crack what may have been a smile... I'll have to run the video frame by frame to be sure...
And finally, they are going to try to emulate Fox by matching up guests of fairly equal "rank"... no more Donna Brazil vs some bubble head college Republican cheer leader. It's just not a balanced discussion. So now it will be a David Axelrod vs a Reince Priebus.
So in short, they are going to change their "opinion model" to become more relevant and centrist and hopefully survive. They will change the "visuals" to be more "inviting". They will also build on their "world news", which Fox and MSNBC don't expend a lot of effort on.
They can only go up from where they are now.Obama doesn't need an "enemies list"... He sees half the country as his enemy.

I always thought Donna Brazile was pretty evenly matched against the bubble head college Republican cheerleaders.

If they do improve their balance of guests. I would be interested to see them do it better than fox's Hannity.
Hannity has guests but he competely steps on them making it difficult to watch.
when he has competing guests it often becomes an unmoderated shouting feast.
I often like the mix of hannity guests but I can not stomach the hannity show.
Hannity
O'Riely
both seem to have a problem with letting guests speak. Even when they are not trying to spin things.
Hannity- "how would you resolve the deficit problem"
Guest- "well that is a difficult question, I would begin by raising ta.."
Hannity- "Do you excuse Obama's association with the unrepentent Bill Ayres and Jeramiah Wright"
Guest- "I would prefer to speak on the issue of the deficit. May I please continue with my point"
Hannity- "So you don't mind that President Obama has a relationship with a terrorist?"...
Guest- "I thought we were talking about the deficit?"Last edited by Epidemic; August 13th, 2012 at 02:01 PM.
