An off-duty fireman was left feeling like a "potential pedophile" after a national airline stopped him sitting next to two small boys on a flight - because men are barred from sitting next to unaccompanied minors.

in defense of this corporate intests. Why take the risk that someone bring charges. It is cheap to relocate the innocent man. it is expensive and annoying to defend against a frivolous law suit that could have been avoided in the first place for no cost.

I think it is stupid that we have to be afraid of such things.

Now on the likelihood of him messing with the kids.... it is a public space not exactly the pedophiles main hunting ground. What is is gonna do wack off on the kids? Strip em naked and give em the old in out?



Now on the lighter side. man the second the stewardess offered me a new seat and forced a woman to sit next to the two annoying boys i would jump at the chance. So maybe we do have a pedophile here

Last flight I was on I sat next to a female unaccompanied minor with no issues and we were around the tail end of the plane. I was in the middle and she was by the windows. I found it odd they dont put her closer to the flight attendants

Needless to say I fly but I don't usually find international flights fun. I do take them occasionally though.

So, in short, please don't let me set next to a minor.

Also... pour me a double when I ask nicely, the plastic cup is big enough. You ain't doing anyone any favors by letting me fly sober (obviously).
