Taxman, I inderstand you oppose Mr. Obama.
I myself waited in vain while the other sister Party paraded one bozo candidate after another in the vain hope that maybe, just maybe, someone would step forth with vision that would return us to Capitalism and a republican form of government--but heard only bozos. As someone once wrote, "I listened for an echo, but heard only praise". People always listen for echos...for some resonance of some ideals.

But this is only the trash being thrown out.

Surely you can realize this--and the companion video--as the trash they are. Surely, you are more intelligent than fostoring this even on this small corner of the Internet. Do better than that. Please. Do better than that. For your own sake, let your reach go further than your grasp and I am hardpressed to believe that this the extent of your grasp of things.

At first I thought this was an Onion joke. There are many valid criticisms that can be leveled against Mr. Obama--not least dividing his Party and more importantly because of what use are Parties when one's Country is in deep peril--by forcing through a Health Care Bill that damaged the Country by division at a time it sorely needed unity and did so out of a Hubris I can't recall seeing in the White House.

But to post this trash at a time we need truth value--"Thou shall know the Truth and the Truth shall set you free"--when so many genuine faults may be found only boggles the mind and makes it look like his opponants don't know any better.

I am going to disregard the fact that no one has ever caught him praying 5 times a day.

I am going to disregard his mother's Atheism influence on his likelihood of becoming a muslim.

I am going to disregard the fact that no military (usually conservative) personnel have ever slipped up and exposed this prayer sessions and or regular visits to mecca and mosques on saturday.

I am going to disregard the fact that no Secret Service agent has ever exposed his daily reading of the Koran.

I am going to disregard the fact that he goes to christian church for 20 years at least and continues today.

I am going to disregard his own words (in alot of cases I might not trust him at his word butttt with all the other evidence I think I will give him the benefit of doubt).



I am going to disregard all that just because an old sex symbol super star says he is a Muslim at a rally.

If President Barack Obama is a muslim he is the worst one in the history of muslims.

The claim/charge put fourth about the President has the opposite problem

The claim that he is a muslim (if true) would indicate a bold face lie and as such would not be irrelevant.

However there is negative evidence on the record.

I deeply regret if any comments I have made have led to expressions of disdain toward fellow members.

Perhaps my own comments have hurt a members feelings and for this I apologize.

I would hope that everybody try to reach for a standard of civility and decorum--even if I have not been a perfect model of it at all times.

Clearly not everything posted about either candidate meets even minimal standards of propriety or even relevance. I would offer a better solution than person attacks to such gibbereish--even if I in a mode of exasperation I exceeded in some words the propriety we should all reach for.
