Well, actually, it'll be a lot better than most of those movies (with the exception of Casablanca). My guess is that it'll compare favorably with Washington's farewell address.

(My favorite movie of all time is actually Duck Soup.)

    Math, eh ??

    Only if you can explain

What's the difference between contango and backwardation?

Then, for extra credit, how does contango make a leveraged index fund asymptote to zero and fail to sell it at the end of every day?

Unhappy PS. Why isn't SOLARIS on the list.

It is one of my favorite planets I have visited.

It should be higher than Casablanca (which I also visited) but below Grease (which I use for tail pomade) and what about my MATH questions??

No, contango is not a kinda dance. although I sometimes use DooGlian spelin.

Take any decimal number greater than one, say 1.1 and any fractional number equally smaller than1, say 0.90 so you increase by 10% and decrease by 10%. Now multiply this by a whole integer unity so 1.10 X 1 and .90 X1.

Now start with one and alternate by increasing the number by 10% (1.10 X 1 =P) and then decreasing the Product P by multiplying it by 0.90 (P'=0.90 X P and P' ' = P' X 1.1....) and keep doing that to each product, multiplying it by 0.9 then 1.1 then 0.9 etc. and see what happens. Hint: it doesn't matter whether you start by increasing or decreasing or whether it's 10% (0.9 and 1.1) or 1%(0.99 and 1.01), just so long as you keep alternating.

That is what happens in leveraged stock funds where Net Asset Value is reset at close of each day. Some Funn for investors, eh??

PS. I went to Solaris in both English and Russian and Russian was better.

You can visit Tarkovsky at Sunday brunch and watch out for Stalker.
