I can answer for ECC2-109. Yes and No. You need an internet connection to return results on at least one machine. The other machines you can copy the dplist file to a floppy and do a manual upload from the single machine with an internet connection, by going to the ECC2-109 website and selecting DP UPLOADER.

After doing a manual upload you will need to delete the dplist file from the comps you are using, then restart the client.

For most of them you do need an Inet connection.
But not all require 24/7 connections.
Max gave you the example for ecc2 (which its probably going to be your best bet).
There are other clients like Seventeenorbust and Find a Drug where you need an internet connection to download the work units. But once they are downloaded, you can go through them without being connected to the internet. (you should connect to send the work units finished.)

thanks for the replies, but I've found a good deal on some wireless pci cards, so the comps will have a connection.
