ECCP - Lets get cracking!!
Looking at the team stats, I noticed that about 69 memebers have not dumped in the last ten days or more.
This is almost half our team!!!
I am wondering if the members have joined other projects within TechIMO or if they are "waiting".
This trend is evident in the top 4 teams that I looked at so I know that we are not alone. If there are any members out there who can shead some light on this......we need all the help we can!!

Hmmm, well some I know for sure are on other projects. Some of them are people that were active forum members, but haven't been seen in awhile. At least one person I belive is holding points in an attempt to take the Megaflush crown. As long as we can keep recruiting members and keep the ones we have active we should be ok.

I second that! Seems like we've lost some folks to other teams or to other projects. If there's some sort of megaflush planned, no one told me about it!
I'd like to say that I started ECCp109 because I saw a bunch of old timers crying and moaning about this and that, only to jump ship. Some solution. It's because of those people that I fully intend to stick with this project (and with this team) until it's complete. Barring unforseen circumstances, of course!
So come on folks! It's not the newest or sexiest DC project out there, but we're still in second place, and running a tight race. There's still plenty of work to do until it's done!

I think we are doing pretty good with what we have and hopefully we can get some more members on-board.
We are gaining on 1st place every week however we have to watch our backs cause I think things are brewing down below!

The last thing I read on the DPC site made a reference to a 2-2-02 MegaDump. They have a few top members that havent dumped for quite a few days. The proxy team stats for these members are also marked secret so we can only guess what they have in store.
It's not the newest or sexiest DC project out there

I have a few points at home that I can throw out there
I admit I'm trying my lappy with UD, but when I have it at home I crank it on ECCp

I updated one CPU to a 1.4Ghz haven't oc'd it much, just 1.45Ghz, waiting for my Alpha Pal 8045. I can post at 1.6Ghz but the heat is to much for my poor old coolermaster. I also have another box almost ready to go, another 1.4Ghz, just waitng for UPS to get it here. It was delayed in shipping for some reason. Then I have to find a case, mobo, and a sdram/ddr mobo for my 1.2Ghz cpu, I guess will go with another ECS K7s5a, the one I have has been a tremendous board. OR maybe a cheap all in one since this will be just a crackerbox. I don't know.

All I can say Eweruk is that you were holding out on me man. Where did all those points come from? I'll catch you again. Sooner or later. I badly need to recruit a few more machines. Maybe many more machines............................

I have to agree that it's interest in the new(er) DC projects that's spreading all the TechIMO teams a little thin.
The newer projects are not only more visually appealing than ECCp, they're also generally thought of as a "better" cause...
People have to run the projects that make them happy, but I'm going to continue to run only ECCp and UD THINK (which run very nicely together on my machines)

Can someone post a link to an ECCP client for Linux? I must not be looking in the right place. What did a tornado sound like before freight trains were invented?

Command line? Looks like I have some fun ahead, haven't done a lot of command line stuff yet, especially compiling
I'll let you know if I get it figured out, or if I need help (don't even think it!)What did a tornado sound like before freight trains were invented?

Actually the command line isn't too bad. If it is a server though you might want to adjust the priority. Let us know if you need help.

I can tell for sure that Phantom (near the bottom) is quite inactive.
He's my brother and he's now working for me.

hmm, just realised I forgot to edit the .ini, that's over 1000 points not showing up at statsaholic, no wonder it has me as 'away'!

To tell the truth .. i`m originally a member of UD team .. and i joined the ECCp team about a month ago ...
When i noticed that i`m losing my position slowly at UD team .. i started to work on ECCp for 10 hours daily instead of 24 hours.. i have few hundreds fo points ready to be dumped though ...
So i`m still with the team and saving points ..

I've been making a few upgrades that have slowed me down for a few days here and there, but should increase my output in the long run.
Sure seems like some of the other projects have been stealing the spotlight from ECCp lately, but like Thud, I have committed to this project until the end unless something really unforseen happens. After that, who knows??

I've been holding back, had to rebuild system 2 times, working on dad's birthday present(hint, hint), and school. I also have to sneakernet these things.

Eweruk: Need more machines? Good Lord, if you don't what you did on the 1st as good enough, I'd really like to see what kinda points you put out when you throw all your resources into it!
