Another Moo Moo for UD...
I picked up a p3 600 today, MB, CPU, 256 meg ram and a geforce 256 DDR for $50 today.. now I need to get a NIC and a HD for this one to start cracking...
BTW, how easy is it to overclock this thing??...
I think its an Intel MB, where do I find the model # on it??No one dies a virgin, Life screws us all.

Quick, someone help Cruez - we need more cows to crack the 100!
Sorry I can't help - my limit in expertise goes to PII's and AMD's. Try Wim's Bios (www.wimsbios.com) to help identify the mobo. You use the BIOS string you see on bootup (often bottom left hand side screen) to identfy the board from that site.

Cruez, I have an Intel and the part number is between the PCI slots. Look over the board and post anything you can find that resembles a number,,
We'll help you figure it out!
And what a sweet deal!

Wow! Wodda deal! If it's an actual Intel mobo, you probably won't be able to OC it. If it's an Intel chipset on somebody else's mobo, there's a better chance you will.
Anyway, CPU cycles is CPU cycles, and points is points. Go get 'em
There's only two things in life. But I forget what they are.

I equipped my routermachine "Blackbox":
IBM PC330 Intel Pentium 100 Inside
40 Mb 72 pin RAM
540Mb IBM Harddrive...
2 x 3Com Etherlink III 509b ISA nic
A whopping 640x480 res with 256 colors is what the screen can handle(can't even see the whole client)...
Windows 98 First Edition
...with the UD agent. Last night: 3% 5 hours. This baby(no Tom, not the "Agent Embryo dedicated baby"
(internal joke) ) will never finish a WU ever... lol

Don't be so sure about that AE

True it may have trouble with the bigger ones, but I'm positive it will finish the smaller ones.. I bet it will be a good little calf over time

I saw Intel on a few chips on the board, but not actually on the board. My Athlon MB has ASUS in nice large letters. This P3 board has nothing on the board itself...at least not a name.
I'll take a better look to see if I can find some info to find out what it is....or I'll take a pic of it also..
All, of course when I get home..No one dies a virgin, Life screws us all.

Did you find numbers on the board??

If I remember correctly, the FCC requires all MB to be coded for identification.
I think this is the correct link, if you find the numbers.

I really suck at offering written condolences. I get kind of emotional so I just find myself fumbling over the right things to say when a loved one dies. In fact, I'd be embarassed to tell you how...
