Hehe...I had the same reaction, except i fired up a P100 laptop and got the 100 CPU rating. Thought it was pretty funny, and posted about it.
Then someone explained that until you run your first molecule, your cpu is assigned a value of 100. The cpu test comes right before transmission of results.
Hehe...still kinda funny to see though.

The Trick To A High Network Score on Dialup
Wait until the WU completes, then tries to connect to the UD server and fails. You'll get the little yellow flashing exclamation point on your little blue football in the corner. THEN dial up and send it. UD will default your score on the network portion of the system test to 100. That increases your overall device rating and gets ya more points per WU.
Having UD Monitor helps, as the UD Agent will move on to the next WU until you change back to the competed one, let it benchmark your system and then try to dial out. That way, you can upload and download at your convenience without losing any CPU time, and also maximize your points.
Pretty clever, eh?There's only two things in life. But I forget what they are.

Well, I have a Cyrix MII 333 (which runs at 300 as 83MHz FSB is unstable on that board), and it gets 100 for processor everytime (not just the first)! And I even get 100 for my Cyrix 6x86 PR200!!
Still the same with the new agent I think (not sure if these PC's have d/loaded the new agent yet - they takes DAYS for each molecule!).
I guess Intel aren't too clever about detecting non-Intel CPU's?
edit: just checked both PC's and neither have the new agent yet.

it's not that it can't detect your chips.. it is unable to run a bench mark on the chip.. so it defaults it to 100.. if it ever benchmarks your chip.. be sure it will drop =) but for now be happy with the 100..In life one must Chill
