    FAD and work

Hey all I remember seeing some people getting into issues with running stuff like FAD on work puters. Is this still an issue. My work gives me (well as long as i work for them) a lappy. I work on it at work and take it home... if i dont run it at work but run it at home would that be ok? any thoughts on this....
You know dog spelled backwards is god.....

    coincidence ..... i think not.

I think it would be ok to run it all the time unless the lappy crashes, or makes you change your work habits. As long as it doesnt interfere with your work its as harmless as getting a custom background.

I think the issue is the person who thinks that they can install it on every PC at work.

Your company probably has an 'acceptable use' policy... if you're in doubt, err on the side of caution and ask. You don't want to go through what this guy did:

I personally wouldn't run FAD on a lappy, It would crush battery life and would make it way to hot for my tastes.
