Mom accidentally deleted FAD!!!!

Hey all
My mom was on her laptop and was going through unwanted programs, when she accidentally deleted FAD!!!
Now I know it wasnt her fault, nor was it mine, but I'm wondering if when I reinstall it back onto her laptop, will it give it a new number thingy?? Because I dont want it giving it a new number so that it adds more CPUS then i have......becuz FAD did one job, so the CPU and number came up, but if when i reinstall it it gets a new number, will i be able to delete the other number?

You will recieve the same number, there is still a piece of FAD in the registry that has to be removed in order to change the number.

just wondering. what would be the bad thing about getting a new number? it's not really a big thing, you can use the same name and stuff...just a different number (i don't even have any idea what numbers I have..but i've got atleast 6 or 7....3 of which are active!

The other number will remain in the FaD archives, become a part of history, and follow you through the rest of your useful life (and after too...). As long as you use the same nickname and e-mail address on the new number as you had for the old number (EXACTLY the same, no extra spaces or anything) the old number will become some sort of sub-number to the new number...

But having said that, pphalan is correct in saying that if you download a new instance of the software and install it on the same machine, it will automatically take over the old details from the registry.
