    Installing FAD On Linux

     
    Well ok all, Im in linux right now trying to set up FAD for linux?

    Can anyone help me out im lost


    Ive looked at the guides, but I still dont know what Im doing, any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks

    they actually have a nice readme included with the download of the install files

    i will jump into linux and see if i can remember what i did a couple of days ago

    Well, I used the Linux Script Generator but something wasnt workign right, I couldnt get ./loader to work

    Well... what error do you get?

    Make sure its in a writeable directory when you run ./fadsetup via the linux script generator... or you could just do it manually

    all you really need is team, nickname, email

    well ok after getting everything down, this is the error after i type for accepting the User Agreement for FAD,

    [root@c-67-175-20-23 FAD]# ls: m*.smi: No such file or directory
    ls: *.tlg: No such file or directory

    I opened KDEGuard thing and it showed it working

    haha, i still havent figured out how to install that thing....i think its because my copy of Mandrake is messed up considering how half the bundled software dosent work....and just glitches out....

    what linux are you on?

    A older version of Mandrake, I didnt have problems other then my stupidity :P

    Those files could not be found because they are the molecule files, it takes a little bit for Think to get the first one to work on, as im sure you have seen in the windows version.

    Stumped me on my first 'nix install at first.
