XPC has recently formed a team of crunchers for the above project. I dont know much about it ,other than it has something do do with pinging.
Now that you ve got my expert evaluation, check it out for yourself,or check the XPC DC forum,a thread called...well,I forgot. Something like: How far can you get on a dime? ,I think.
Might be fun

I would, but I'm dedicated to FAD at the moment. If DIMES doesn't interfere with the processes, I'd do it at least on this computer.

It uses just a touch of your BW (1 KB/s) and the ping and traceroute functions of your OS to take its measurements from your computer location and sends them off to the project. |

I'm not worried about bandwidth...I'm worried about CPU usage. |
