Ok, so you weren't referring to BipolarBill then.
He is the only person I miss from Sysopts. (I was on the Sysopt SETI team a long time ago crunching away with 5 computers)

You are forgetting that TIMO is split up between XPC and Christianboards as well. Go back a page or two and look at the numbers when added all together.
Also, better watch what you say around here. Telling some of these people to have a "Happy Holiday" may put you into their trash bin. Its better to say Merry Christmas as to not offend all the Christian extremists.

Oh come on.... that aint how the game is played.
What I'm seeing is a team that has allowed itself to fall apart in spirit and fellowship.
We are a team has regrouped from sudden forum death several times, each time the members slowly find each other and return. We have had some of the finest DC'ers you can possibly imagine....you know the type, dedicated. Its truly not how much a member produces, its the all-out effort to make your best.
We came in jested DC peace and in good-faith, we just thought maybe you folks might want to play, ....I guess we were wrong.
Merry
Cristmas to you all, and may your holidays be blessed with family and friends.
You have boarded and plundered, I'm sure you will see us again.....'til then
Keep those loose cycles wrangled.

Possibly. Long story short, TechIMO was created following a corporate fallout surrounding SysOpt around the time of the dot com crash. Scott Wainner, TechIMO's site owner, founded SysOpt back in the day, though SysOpt has gone through additional owners since Scott selling the site during the dot com boom.
Anyway, fast forwarding to the present, Scott's Internet company is primarly comprised of four key operations:

As for me, getting beyond TechIMO, you might have encountered my editorial work at EarthWeb.com, HardwareCentral.com, SharkyExtreme.com, Romulus2.com, SysOpt.com, XtremePcCentral.com, Maximum PC magazine, etc.Robert Richmond | Infinite perceptions. One reality.

Biz, have you somehow misconstrued the DC forum with DebateIMO?

I hate being boarded. I always get slivers.
Unofficial TechIMO record holder for the number of times being added and removed from beemer's ignore list.

very interesting Rob... errr, Rich... whatever...
our original SETI team Overclockers-Network was spawned from HWC waaayyy back (as I said, 1999 or so)... We were regulars in the HWC CCO sub-forum, and ran SETI to keep our TEC's from freezing our chips when idle, while also using it to boast about our OC prowess... the group started a DC team at HWC, but the admins decided that was too far removed from computer hardware and closed the DC sub-forum (as well as the off topic forum), pretty much killing the team.. we left in disgust and formed OCN, a formidable team back in its time... dunno if you hung out on the HWC forums back then, but some elites that followed us to OCN included names like Lord_Gumby, TNproud2b, Duckman, S_Klass, NiteOwl, Maxout, Jopey, BK, 3Rotor (master of early waterblock production), DMMD (Wooga), warhorse, Machupo, tknojnky... myself, ResearchMonkey, and goddcopp were also in the migration, but I don't think any of us would have considered ourselves in the "leadership" group...
small world, eh... (as RM already pointed out, finding old posts at Sysopt)...
we have boarded may teams over the years, and have left footprints and made friends everywhere.. the spirit of boarding parties is to motivate not only our team, but our "opponents" as well to produce work for these worthy projects...
hopefully we have made friends here over the past few days, maybe you will be motivated to take back your spot from us, and maybe you will stop by and visit us as well some day..
take care...

WOW, They really think they accomplished something. They boarded an abandoned Ghost ship, and found nothing. LOL
Who knows though they may actually have angered a Spirit or two. Never a good thing to disturb the Dead as It may come back to haunt you. Doubtful though as most of the Spirits went to XPC and Christian boards where they now rest in peace.

I would run a DC project on my laptop but I fear it would get to hot.
