| Prepare to be boarded!!
In 4 days hence, the OC Distributed pirates will board and successfully overtake you in Rosetta.
It's nothing personal, it's just what we do.
So fire up all your guns, because nothing will stop us now!! |

Actually, I am somewhat surprised anyone at TechIMO is even actively running Rosetta. It is a great DC project, but our core DC team pretty much drifted into obscurity following the closure of FaD. Of note, SETI and F@H seem to be the more popular projects for the current TechIMO DC enthusiasts.

Look at Team XPC (10th) and Christianboards.org (83rd) to find a bunch of TIMO members . . .
BTW, how far back are you guys on the OGR project???? (O-o-o-p-p-p-p's, you can't even field a team.

Yah, after the demise of FAD most of the TIMO team who stuck with DC moved to XPC.
So if you wanna play with the big boys...
Cheers

I’m sure you folks couldn’t read my e-lite HaXoR writing so I’ll just use my regular Engrish for you..
Now I don’t want to discourage you folks, you seem to be really nice, ….for a bunch-of-OLD-guys. And I’m certainly not trying to insult your beo-wolf cluster of WinCE iPhones. But I think it’s only fair to let you know what you’re up against with us, so I’m going to honest with you..
…now I’m not really supposed to talking about this, but… remember the seti v2.94, BEFORE they began to “throttle it” to “save work”! - that’s not the whole story…. WE found something… now don’t go telling your friend about this, Bezerkly would get mighty upset with me over telling you this, so this is between us OK…. OUR team made contact, yup sure did! ....That’s why they forced everyone to change over to the v3.03, it was a big cover-up.
Now the low-down, …er’ down-low on that is we learned about some very special technology that smashes the old “x86” thing, we have the new “¤Ø17℠” technologies, that’s right! The Pentium-XVII, based on the much better prime-number calculation (what did you think prime-grid was really about) and yes it is …alien technology. We've had some trouble with the wetware (not to be confused with whet-where?) ...and we almost have that solved. So...
Now again, I’m only telling you this because you seem nice.
Save face and just bow down, admit defeat now and we'll pillage upon you lightly.

Would we have gone to the moon without it?
Would a bunch of skinny guys in Spandex ride bikes 2100 miles thru France's mountains without it?
Would we have cheap as crap, quad, kick @ss processors without it?
Nay I say!! Quote:
