I left for a while just after FAD closed down. What happened to our DC team, and what is our main one? I would like to unite my proc once I get one . . . .
Ony old-timers here still? The WVCT is back . . . . |

Man i guess I will have to get folding again! The DC place here seems to have slowed down. Did we just loose motivation, or what? Lets get crackin!
. . . er foldin' . . . . .
The WVCT is ancy for some competition. What can we do to geet more of the newer members to begin crunching again.. I remember when I was in high school, the DC forum was the place to be and all of us here on this end in Utah LOVED the DC project. How can we get it moving and what are we going to do? |

there just aren't any projects out like fad. I lost interest after fad as i'd already been through all the other projects and none of them felt like fad did. They didn't have the enthusiasm. It was a big disappointment when fad closed. I got grounded more than a few times for running up the electricity bill too much from that project ::looks around sheepishly:: lol. Never quit though. I don't see the community and especially the involvement of those in charge anywhere else. :-\ You let us know if you find a project like that though! Keith was the reason I kept working on that project and I think it was similar for the rest of us... Maybe i'm wrong but i don't think so... |

Hmmm . . . Looks like we neeed a new standard and standard bearer. Twinkletoes was really part of the glue that held the team together. I think that he deserves the last wear of the Hotpants.
But I digress - where are most of the people crunching for TIMO? I would guess it was F@H, but I have no clue! I am really anxious to bring back the old environment that the old FAD team had rolling. |

I've been running Seti lately. Might switch to F@H soon though. |

I have Rosetta installed, had it running for a day,,
nope just nobody enthused about crunching,
oh the fad chat days, if we could just bring back a new daily thread like fad chat,
I think some of it might be that some people on here have learned not to like each other to much, being on the political chat and getting a little hot under the collar,
no techmo spirit, |

Well, I quit running Seti, and started Folding@Home instead. I joined the team!
Let's try to get the team going again! |
