OK some of us could not take it any more, dchw dude, Karma Killer, and me have decided we need to start a new weekly thread for those of us folding with F@H

thats right it's time to bring back the hot pants and the rubber baby buggy bumpers,

we will be posting the techimo F@H stats and somebody will get the hot pants, and last place will be of course the rubber baby buggy bumpers,

the good news is the stats will not be posted by me,

i'm to damm stupid to figure it out, and it's best left to those who know what there doing,

besides I might hurt myself,

how ever you can count on me to make stupid comments, roast anybody at any time, use bad grammer, spell words wrong, and do or say anything I feel,

we are also looking for any of the old timers from the fadchat days to please come and help us start (Folderchat) we will come looking for you, so it's best just to turn yourself in, and get on with the folding,

so come one come all roast your friends, make new friends, amaze your family, fold at will, big or small we welcome all who can fold,

this has not been a public service, (mostly becuase i'm not aloud in
public,

ok first order of stuff, some questions,

1) when you restart your box does F@H start were it left off or does it start a new project?

it looks like it starts a new project, that would be bad

2) I finaly figured out how to run F@H on quad core, how ever I'm only letting it run on 3 cores for now,

well this is going over like a fart in a wind storm, whats with you people, were not folding clothes here, folding folding and more folding thats the mission,

get with it or I'm coming after all of you,

don't make me call the girlfriends and wives, and tell them how you have no courage to fold,

this is not rocket science, and you may get a pair of hot pants,

Starting a new process is not just light the fuse and hope it blows up
Dont forget DC has been dead here for a long time
Once I get my PS3 back (let a friend borrow it) I'll add my stats to the timo team to help

vas, your contribution will definetly give us a boost . . . start saving the $$ and get a few more and we will have a chance. I am in the process of reincarnating the WVCT(some boxen are struggling, and not just mine). Look forward to some appearances by lancethepants . . . Ryanoffki is MIA . . . Ill bring him back tho!

Got F@H going on one core for now. I usually need my other core for other apps. But I got it going on both at night, and I'm in the process of setting it up on the P3 box now. then probably the HTPC!

Let's get crunching guys! We need the help!!

On a side note, I'm all about the numbers, and the competition it brings, and encouragement even.But let's not forget that this could save somebody's life one day. It's about finding a cure!

hey you made it, i have been fighting F@H all day it seems, I had this thing OC'd to 3.4 but when I try to run F@H on 3 cores it keeps crashing, so I have turned it down to 3.2, I guess I need to look in to OCing this board some more, maybe i'm just not doing something right,

but i'm crunching along,

Hey, since this thread is kind of slow, lets keep this one for the time being. Right now in my s[are time at work I will make an info thread that can be stickied(if needs be) to let the whole of TIMO know that the crazy DC'ers are back in F@H trim. It will have a beginning guide, etc . . input is welcome! dv - if you could help with the quad core stuff . . . im accustomed to only since core crunching . . . vass could write about PS3 crunching . . . . etc . . . email them to me at corey.larson1[at fo sho]gmail

A couple things you need to get done in order to grow your team.

Get your F@H sticky up. even if its not ready for prime time get something posted.

Post a link to the F@H web site.

I read something in the F@H FAQS that you can run F@H with BOINC,

I will look it up, and get back to you on it, BOINC runs quad cores really good and it's simple to setup,

I will get on the running F@H with quad cores, I have it running on 3 cores right now,
