News from the slow lane.
Rumor has it that Mr Scott may have something up his sleeve, Mumbled something about a P4 2.8 or two . not real sure what he was talking about, I'll just assume the Garbage may need to be strapped down tighter. Will post more when I find out.

well a buddy at work mentioned that he got a few P4 2.8s that they were getting rid of at work. He only needs 1, and told me if he found any other keepers he would pass them along.
Dumpster Diver that I am I took a look at the leftovers and pulled out 2 X P4 2.4s and a P4 1.8
So I have some CPUs and Motherboards to play with. |

At a hospital near you most likely, Oh yeah Wrong Springfield ;P
I was just thinking the other day that Dumpster Diving is the one thing I really miss From my Housekeeping days, and that I would be finding anything good considering that these P4s were what they upgraded to just a few years back. That and the fact that they are the exact same computer I have on My desk at work.
anything new they buy is a Core 2 Duo. After We can show a cost savings they might be nice enough to spend a little money on us and buy us Laptops which would make us way more efficient. (IE: I could do my ordering while on the floors instead of having to right it all down and go back to the office to place the order.)
I'm not going to be able to run all of these. If they work, and somebody wants one I could spread the wealth. |
