Sorry all. I was not in my usual place this morning . . . no I did not return to the coporate womb that is my cubicle. Since I have been sick, and lost my voice this morning(my job requires a lot of phone work) I couldn't go. So in an attempt to heal myself, I called in sick and rasped into the phone. Then I slept in until noon MST. I can do the usual in about half an hour if yalls would like . . . .

    Power Surges FTL!!

Not sure what happened today, but when I left my house this AM, my system was on and folding. When I got home a couple of mins ago, my system was shut off..
To add insult to injury, my system won't turn back on...

Not really sure what's up with it.

Gave up on Linux for the moment. I think it was about the third Distro that actually told Me my problem. It wanted 2 gig for the root , and at least 256 for the Swap. Problem is it is only a 2 gig drive. I could fix that, and may in the future, but for now It will get Win XP. Funny thing is I have the License keys, and Dell XP disks.

I'm about to be hanging out with the big dogs for a while.

P3 engine is really taking it's time, been going on like a week and a half to 2 weeks on the first wu. If it doesnt' speed up on the next wu, I may just give her away to somebody who is interested in setting her out to their pasteurs.
Had problems with the p4 engine lost about 18 hours of crunching due to neglect, something happened to the cpu client i was running couldnt get it to reinstall so switched back over to gui at 100%
I might be throwing another dualy in the farm if my little deal goes through.
OK i think you guys are caught up

    K. Main system back up and crunching..
Ended up having to reset the CMOS, so I had to go back through BIOS and find the sweet spot again..
On a side note, anybody looking for a nice DVD player for their car? This one to be exact. I just got it back from warranty work, and they sent me a new one back.
I give you sweet deal on it...

Tried to set up the SMP thing to run a single instance of F@H with my X2...but gave up after trying to get it to work and failing every time for about an hour straight.

Yes, I have it set up through the .net framework and the Messenger thing. I tried downloading it a couple of times thinking I had a bad download but that did not help either.

Gives me an error about not being able to connect because the target machine refused it.

Hmmm... That might be on their side then. If your system is trying to connect, then I'd say it's not you..

I really have no way to confirm this then.
