And TS sucks compare to Vent. At least out of the box with default settings. It uses poor codecs by default.

No, it wasn't finished. Mainly because it wouldn't go past 30% before it would restart a new one. I was having issues. I think the new SMP client solved it though.

But it continued from 30%? Or did the program dump the WU and download a new one? Or perhaps even restarted from 0%?

It dumped the WU. Which I fully expected it would do. It sucks, but now it's running pretty well. It almost seems faster then the older SMP client. Not really sure if it is though..

Who in there right mind would use the default settings. Mine actually sounds pretty good.

could somebody please explane this to me,





I have tried everything I can think of,

I shut off firewall, tried to allow this in the firewall,

opened port on router, run as admin, installed F@H SMP in the dave folder,

what is sock error, is this thing telling me my feet stink,

I installed this on XP with no problems, it's running fine,

but vista will not do it,

Dave since this is a beta client why don't you post it to the smp client thread on F@H forum. I bet more vista users are there than here.
