I woke up this morning and looked in the obituary's and I was not listed so I had to go to work,
however I have seen those packet creatures you speak of,
they drive like a blind man in the Indy five hundred,,
all I can say is thank God we don't have to have packet insurance

Howdy guys. Nightly spam crew checking in!
My cpu is hating me! I got home, and checked out the log in RealTemp, and both of my cores peaked out at 67° today.
I guess I'm gonna have to turn the OC down more now.. |

I guess I'm gonna have to turn the OC down more now.. | Im sorry man. You're gonna love your Q6600 though. Im in love with mine. Right now, on stock HSF I am up to 2.8 GHz stable, once I get the balls to up my voltage I can probably go just a lil higher. I'm still scared of thermals. With my re-seated HSF(loose pin) Im only up to ~60-61C on my hottest core, average 60 all around. What mobo you got to go with the beast proc? |

Now my XP2100+ has become unstable. More work to do.

at least I now know my HSF was just a little better than the stock HSF,
I OC'd mine to 3.0 with stock voltage, heat running F@H went up to 60c |

No Quad here yet.
Still waiting. Sounds like the Mobo and PSU will be here tomorrow. The Quad, FedEx now says the 3rd.
Case and fans on the 3rd also.
@Dude. I have very high expectations for my Quad though. It's gonna be running at AT LEAST 3.4ghz before I give up.. |

Either way its gonna be a folding beast. If only I could get sneakernetting 4 wus to mine work . . . or get a wifi antenna for my comp . . . .
By the way, I was eyeballing this HSF yesterday . . . http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16835154001 |

Tuniq are good HSF's. I myself think they are ugly as hell, but that really doesn't matter.
And I do not plan on using the stock HSF. The only time I've touched those is to dismantle them to get the fan off of them.
I have a Arctic Freezer I'm gonna try on it first. If I don't like the temps. I'll throw my lapped GeminII on it. With 2x120mm fans, that ought to cool her down.. |
