So my Intel E8400 came in today. Now i have a Q6700 plus an E8400 with no homes as of yet. I couldnt pass up the deal on the E8400 for $139.00 Now if all goes well by the beginning of next month my lineup should look something like this (subject to change)
1.Q6600 on a DFI DK P35
2.E8400 on a Asus P5NE
3.Q6700 on a Asus Maximus Extreme watercooled with red uv die and some sort of crossfire madness
4.Pentium 4
5.AMD 2100 XP+ crunching with Linux
Comed is gonna love me

Update on my box, looks like the power outage buzzed the mobo's internal nic card. Replace it with an external nic card and she connected right up. Its crunching again.  | |

Downloaded a new WU on the quad...2 hours latter, zero frggin percent done! Should have had at least 2.
What's the difference between a Q7 and Q6? A waste of money.
260 Mhz is all I see...
