So my Intel E8400 came in today. Now i have a Q6700 plus an E8400 with no homes as of yet. I couldnt pass up the deal on the E8400 for $139.00 Now if all goes well by the beginning of next month my lineup should look something like this (subject to change)
1.Q6600 on a DFI DK P35
2.E8400 on a Asus P5NE
3.Q6700 on a Asus Maximus Extreme watercooled with red uv die and some sort of crossfire madness
4.Pentium 4
5.AMD 2100 XP+ crunching with Linux
Comed is gonna love me |

Update on my box, looks like the power outage buzzed the mobo's internal nic card. Replace it with an external nic card and she connected right up. Its crunching again. |

Downloaded a new WU on the quad...2 hours latter, zero frggin percent done! Should have had at least 2.
What's the difference between a Q7 and Q6? A waste of money.
260 Mhz is all I see...
