Hey all! Transferring WUs up and down the stairs sucked. Vistas CD burning and XP's cd reading/burning was difficult to coordinate. And I ate a CD with like 6 sneakernet units. Now I have a thumb drive. My network speed increased to like 7 MPh!

As far as the dip, I am guessing that we will recover like we did from the April ones. I say once we rise 100 places from where we initially began(like 412th since we really officially resurrected) that we petition Rob to put it up as some news. It will give us some good publicity, and hey, make us feel good.

Thumb Drive FTW!!

(Or you could just use a CD-RW. You can erase the data and start all over again)

Figured that would be the reason, OCing.

Ya, it's showing each core (4 total of course) in Task Manger at 25% Is that right? In the CPU graphs they are all at 100%

I only run the damn thing for 8 hours a day.

Actually the only reason i picked up a Q6700 was because i got a great deal on it. Imo i still think the the Q6600 oc's better than the 6700 just for the simple fact that i have seen more people get to 4ghz with 6600's than i have with 6700's.
More or less it was an impulse buy. For a long time the 6700 was priced 2x higher than the 6600, and when the 6700 dropped well ya know. So now when i watercool the 6700 on a great ocing board we will see what it's got

No, that's not right. If you do the math, 25% x 4 =!00% of one core. You could be getting way more points if you download the newer SMP release. It's much much much faster.

I am using the SMP client!

If you look in the Task manger, do you see all four cores at 25% each or 100 percent each? Just want to clarify. Each one here is only at 25%

This is the one. Windows: V5 Beta SMP clients.

However, like I said, in the graphs display of the Task Manager each core graph is at 100%. As far as I can tell..

Edit- Wait, wait, wait. Are you running 4 instances of the SMP client? Maybe that's what I need to do!

Keymaker,

You are doing fine with the smp client. Yes, on the performance tab of the task manager each core = 4 must be 100% cpu usage each. On the processes tab 4 ea FahCore_a1.exe must be running with 25% cpu usage being shared between all four.

Running only 8 a hours a day produces less than 1 wu per day which is around 1760pts. Depending on how much you use the box completing the wu might carry over the next day.

I hate My Budget. I had an extra $20 figured i would get these damn P4s out the Door. Then I left for work this morning, As I came to the stop sign i applied the Brakes. What did I hear? The God Awful Grinding of Metal on Metal sound of a bad brake pad.
spent the $20 on some Cheap ass pads that I put on it just until I can do the job properly. 2 new rotors($60 each), Ceramic pads $25+, Brake fluid (cheap)
Not sure what I did, but Karma (not you KK) is Messing with Me right now.
This is not like Me, I can be lazy, and procrastinate, but when I tell people I'm going to do something I stand By my word. I could have done this through PMs but would rather put it right out here in the open. People here have been good to Me and sent me things, and I just want to try and do the same.
I WILL GET THIS DONE!
Don't feel sorry for Me, Not crying for help. I don't want that. Hang in there guys and keep crunching.
