I'm gonna swap the Quad to the 680i board, to see what kind of OC I can get. Other then that, nothing but bar-b-que's and brews for me! |

Completed my plan for the weekend. Laid down the sod on the back yard and now just in the process of drowning the sod. Rented a tiller the other day and tilled parts of the backyard. Let me till you, It is easier now for me to say it kicked my ass cuz I ain't got no more ass. A decade of clicking mouse as a living has the tendency to do that to you. I am glad I have all weekend to recover.
KK let us know about that mobo swap. Broke down and ordered the ds3l open box for the quaddie. I hope its another good one.
Looks like everybody else are on the road again.

Yep. Seems the long weekend has got people wanting to take a mini vacation..
Instead of swapping boards, I started mowing the back yard. I got about a 1/3 of the way through it, and decided I'd wait till it was dry...
Manual labor= teh suck!
So for now, shower, lunch, then Mobo swap! |

You also know exactly how it gets, especially when you can't change to a less sweaty clothes. |

laying on butt, gave my dad the server I just built, reloaded it with vista,
so now I need to build new server again,
just built a system for someone yesterday, he spent $1,600 on parts,
I had all the stuff picked out at newegg but than found I could get most of it cheaper or same price at micro center,
but it went badly kind of, he got to micro center before me, I was still at work so I met him there he had already picked everything out with help fron sales guy,
I had to change some stuff but the MB he had picked had the same P35 ICH9 chipset as my MB, an asus like mine only the P5K CE so I figured it had raid, so I didn't really look,
got the board to his house, NOT!!!! no raid, well Jmicron raid only, so had to skip the raid0 setup, he wanted a gaming box the best gaming box, so he got a 9800GTX $359 i'm thinking it would be a cold day in hell when I pay $359 for a video card
and a Q9450,
nice rig to much money for me,

Did you tell him that he could be getting more FPS with a high end dual core vs the Quad he got?
And really dave, I'd put our Q6600's up against the new line anyday. They are OC beast compared to the Q9xxx line..
And the GPU is a big waste of money IMO also. But again, IMO.. |
