Folder Chat: 6/21...I think I am back

Ok, think I got F@H to play nicely with WoW. Not sure yet...but it is not locking up the computer anymore while playing WoW and folding. I still have no idea what caused it and what seemed to fix it was a complete uninstall / reinstall of WoW and F@H

So hopefully I will be able to run F@H all the time on my computer.

Do you think it had anything to do with your router?

Not sure...after I upgraded my firmware it still happened for the next few days before I turned off F@H again. I then left it for a few days and then decided to uninstall and reinstall both programs and now they seem to be working.

I got FahMon to work on my SMP... I'm on a roll today...

Yep... well I don't think the GPU thing is gonna be constant for me. My cards drivers aren't officially supported. And the drivers I was using last night(the only official drivers supported) keeps crashing. So for now, just going at it CPU style.
I'll get a new GPU, then worry about folding on it.

True...
The other thing that baffled me is on FahMon, it said my GPU would net ~2500PPD. I let it crunch for a good 12 hours, and it only gave me 108 points. What's up with that??

Or the stats could be slow and all of the sudden whoop there is it

I may give the GPU client a try later this week. Want to be sure that the command line version works for sure first.

But guess what... It's back, and I'm back to crunching on the GPU. Even got FahMon completely setup, monitoring all my boxes...
And who doesn't like pics...

That is why you live in Mizzou, cuz we don't have to ask for the money. Gonna have to try that FAHmonitor. Have not used it since last time I folded years ago.

Well at least I can say I wasn't born in this state..

So I ditched the GPU folding yet again. One thing I didn't take into account, with switching drivers to support folding, it stopped supporting games. COD:4, and Crysis, and some others...
So yet again, I'll get a different card, and go from there..
