Going to try to install x64 ubuntu again and try to use the smp client. Last time the client would not start. Reloaded x32 and it ran until I shut it off this afternoon when it completed its wu's. It ran for about 3 weeks. Time to learn again.

As far as the upgrade, new Mobo and GPU probably. So you'll be seeing my 680i up for sale shortly. I'm gonna keep the 9600 around for folding though.

Too bad I'd snoozed on that evga 8800gts/gs with free shipping. Is that okay for crunching too KK?

The 8800GTS pulls about 3500PPD. That's on stock. I've seen people hit over 4k PPD with a nice OC.

You can still get a 8800GTS for $120 after rebates. But you might check into the 9800GTX. I think that's what I'm gonna get. That thing is a MONSTER when it comes to folding..
