that's basically a GTX280, with highly optimized drivers. Same core at least. lol

I being partial to lefty is more than willing to part with righty if folding parts comes to be had.
Long live the left.
Besides pea-nuts are just that, peanuts.

if they are indeed based off the GTX280, i wonder if someone is going to hack the Tesla drivers to make a GTX280 work like one? |

IDK.. I'm sure it can be done, but it'd take a smart man to do it. |

well look from nvidias standpoint. 4GB of DDR3 is very expensive and to put the core of your most EXPENSIVE video card on the same PCB along with not having any Video out just to do calculations that are somewhat outperformed by the 4870 in the folding arena. |

not meaning to go off topic, But Fizur2002 are you on our Team? Quote: | Important Note: This board is NOT a video card. It has no display outputs for connecting a monitor. It is a processor that offloads the computation from the computer’s CPU. Also note that for operation under Windows XP, this board requires a NVIDIA graphics display board or motherboard NVIDIA graphics. This is not a requirement for Linux operation. |
