Home From work, put in a 5 hour day, I thought that was stressful... WRONG!!!
getting the Fluck out of Dodge was worse, all the nut case drivers who seem to not know their left from their right, using the damned signals on their cars, driving at LEAST the speed limit & not putz at 50MPH then speed up to 65-70 when no oncoming cars, then drop down to 45-50 again as a cluster of cars goes by (GET A DAMNED RADAR DETECTOR IF YOUR THAT WORRIED, SHEEEEESH)...
anyways, I was about to run a few people off the road trying to get home tonight, if I has legal authority to do so, and owned a tank, I would of...
anyways, home now & 2 days off...
best of all, WE GOT PAID TODAY!!!
now to decide whether to wait & see if I can get one of those 9800GTX+'s on the Tigerdirect/CompUSA Pink Friday/Black Friday sale thing, or grab that Recertified eVGA 8800GTS...
thinking if I grab the GTX+, I'll grab a Zotac Mini-ITX board on newegg for $50 as well, so I can put together a little Mini-ITX Core 2 series mini system... OR grab a $40 PSU for the AMD rig & slap the 320MB GTS in it... (if I do the latter I can hopefully Triple my GPU Folding output easily, guessing 15K PPD easily between the 320MB, 512MB GTS & a GTX+... sounds about right... right?)
either way I'll figure it out on Friday.
but with my luck, the GTX+'s will be sold out, & I'll head over to Newegg & find the Recertified GTS out of stock LOL
No word yet on whether we'll be heading over to my brothers house for dinner tomorrow, praying we don't, especially if his wife & mother in law are cooking...
(let me explain... stuffing is a tad bit "moist" to say the least, turkey is usually too dry, & mashed potatoes are a tad "thin" & sometimes "sloppy".... needless to say, its a good idea for the next 2 days after to stock up on some TP & Immodium AD
)
Oh, & almost forgot...
Happy Thanksgiving to everyone.

depending on what your GTS (G80) gets, you can count on the G92's getting about 5k a day.

yeah, the current GTS (G92) does anywhere from 4-5K (according to FahMon, sometimes 5100+K PPD)... GTX+ would/Should be a bit more, and the 320MB GTS (G80), I'm guessing should be probably closer to 2-3K PPD, maybe a bit more, hard to say until I fire it up.
guessing solely based off their Graphics/gaming performance.
however if for whatever reason over the next 2 days I run across a 9800GX2 or GTX260 for near the $150 mark, open box or recertified or whatever, I'll certainly grab one of those instead

I think I'm going non-traditional tomorrow. I have 3 choices.
1. Drive for 2 hours or more to my brothers house. Eat. Drive 2 hours back
2. Drive for about 20 minutes to my sister in laws for dinner at around 5 P.M.
3. Walk across the street about Noon eat Deep fried Turkey, and drink Beer.
can only do one of the above, so I think I will go with #3.
Could do 3 and 2, but that would require me making a total Drunken ass of myself at number 2.

Is it just the job causing the PPD drop? Fahmon shows 2675 ppd, and 511 points for this job.

yeah, no issues here. Seems like all the GPU's are going for me.
Bat, might [cntrl] + C, then restart the clients. See if that does anything.
And Nunya, some GPU WU's are 511 pointers. They take longer, which leads to the drop in PPD. And they normally make your GPU run a couple of degrees warmer then usual.

(I've found if you go into advanced options, and select "small WUs" you don't seem to get any 511pointers. At least I haven't since I switched all my clients over)Q6600@4Ghz | i7 920@4.4Ghz |E6320@3.5Ghz

Wow, got sucked into the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade.
I get the error that the server has no record of the units my CPU has worked on. It's happened to the last 6 units.

Are you OC'd at all bat? That can lead to some odd problems sometimes.
Personally, your talking to the guy with the worst luck ever with SMP. No matter what I do, I haven't been able to keep it stable and working for more then a couple of weeks.
IDK if it's me, or what.Q6600@4Ghz | i7 920@4.4Ghz |E6320@3.5Ghz
