Normally, I only buy XFX and EVGA video cards . . . but I have owned a couple ASUS cards. I won't buy an ASUS MoBo anymore, as they tend to die in under a year. Every one we've sold in the store has died in under a year and a friend of mine named "Movingmind", has had to replace 15 of his 16 due to early failures.

Funny how you had the time right. I went through 3 under warranty. That last third one lasted long enough to beat the warranty by 17 days.

Only had one die and that wasn't ASUS's fault, But they tend to SUCK for Overclocking.
Maybe I just got lucky with the board I received. My A7V8X has been rock solid, doesn't overclock as well as it could, but I have to agree they have gone way down hill from what they once were.

I concur.
I try to stay away from asus myself. I'm a pretty big fan of EVGA and Gigabyte. DFI has some boards too also. But I'm loyal to EVGA for sure.

Starting on setting up folding in windows 7. 3 GPU's and a Quad core, let's see how this goes.
