    SMP Client will not run

clicking on the fah6.exe shortcut allows a DOS window to appear for a split second on the desktop, then it dissapears - normally the client runs in a minimized DOS window. this was working fine up until i unplugged my PC (turned off the client with control c prior to shutting down) to hook everything up to a new UPS. other than that, no changes have been made.

Hi jason, did you update the SMP client?? The 6.23 client stopped working Feb 2. You must use the older 5.91 or 92 client - at the very bottom of this page:

    Please follow the instructions

    Yes, ^
6.23 squeezes out a touch more PPD then the older clients. I'd go for the newer one myself.

woops, you're right! it's 6.22 (thanks log files!)

would standard remove through control panel and install from that link preserve log files and work completed?

Uninstalling takes the everything out of the folder. I always just redo everything. It's easier, but there are other ways. But you really want someone else to explain that to you, I am teh suck at it!

Don't forget to close it (Ctrl+C), and restart it to get SMP running at full speed.

Fahcore_7 and Fahcore_78 both died on me. Fahcore_a1 is working fine. If they die on you just let it run, it will find a new core.
