I have to stay with nonet client.......as I only have a dial-up connection!
I checked out a number of other teams sites last night, GenomeCollective, AMDMB, and Phoenix Rising and no one is happy at all with the proposed changes!
Hopefully, Stanford and the Pande Group will listen! We choose to donate our CPU cycles to them!
I am quite happy running nonet and if that option is unavailable in the new client I will be forced into another project Not what I want, at all. This is also what I'm reading on the other sites!

Well some of the latest news from the yahoo group it looks like there will not be a new set of stats. Which hopefully will mean that people can continue to use the current client and keep in the same team as those who may want to use the new one.

g, I hope we are able to keep the same stats setup!

I should probably try the new folding client (3.0)! I didn't have any luck with the older clients.

THe beta client doesn't have support for genome! It is in the best interest ,IMO, for the genomers to keep running the older client.

I agree GilaM no need for a change in the near future i think. Esp as there seems to be more confirmation that there will not be a new project then there is no real need for the new client to be installed
