    Windows 7 Folding...

I figured I'd start a thread for folding clients on Windows 7. I finally got the gpu client working on my laptop. The cpu client is still giving me issues, but i don't plan on using it to fold on my laptop anyway. I will keep working with it till I get it to work though.

For the GPU client, I did a fresh install of Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit, and a fresh install of the Vista GPU Console client.

I haven't used the 64bit version of W7 yet for but the 32 bit version the gpu client was a straight install w/o any issues for me. I'm also running the CPU client, all though I'm not running the smp I choose to use the standard tray client for now. Only uses one core but its a little more manageable.

cool. I'm still having issues with the cpu client on Win 7. It loads fine, but freezes after downloading a wu.

Yeah, I never got SMP to work in Win7. I tried a couple of times, never would go.
IDK if it was something to do with the security, or what.
All I gotta say is if you get it working, please share with the rest of us.

I'll play with the SMP client a little today and see what I can do.
