WOOO!!! Just checked my stats this morning and while i am no where near the top i broke into the top 100! #96!!!

I installed the CPU and GPU client on my gaming machine as i am downloading a new MMO to try out and its taking days to download from germany. Figured i would put my computer to good use in the mean time.

Im trying, I should have six or seven processors running now ... That should help improve my score some. I just hope that my plan for the kiosk army doesnt backfire as they reset themselves every 12 hours.

Did you go ahead and set them up to run automagically as a service, as we discussed in the other thread? Is the 12-hour reset actually a full OS reboot?

Even if it's a reboot, you will find that you only lose a few minutes of work each day, and the folder should pick up very close to where it left off. You could in theory optimize your folding by slightly shortening the interval between data writes, which by default is 15 minutes.

If you do 2x reboots per day, and you lose an average of 7.5 minutes of work per reboot, you may find that shortening your interval to say, 5 minutes, is a good tradeoff between time lost to reboots vs. time wasted journaling. But I suspect the difference is so slight as to not warrant tinkering.
