All right slackers! ATTENTION gpu folders. I have been playing around with some new drivers and hit the jackpot on a hot tip.
If you are running vista ultimate and gpu crunching these drivers are getting crazy ppd. GeForce ForceWare 185.20 Vista 64-bit download from Guru3D.com
I went from 5000 ppd on a 9800GTX+ to 11000 ppd with these drivers.
I can tell you there is only a slight boost on xp 32 bit with these drivers.
I have not tried the on windows 7 64 bit, nor vista 32 bit. Here is a screenie: TechIMO Tech Support Help and Computer Hardware Expert Forums
I will keep this updated with whats working and whats not for particular os's
*** Drivers are unconfirmed to be working for Win7 64bit****
*** Drivers confirmed to be a minor increase in ppd for XP 32 bit***
*** DRivers confirmed to be working for Vista Ultimate ***

While uninstalling Nvidia drivers in my XP partition, I somehow borked it all up. Now, nvidia drivers won't finish uninstalling, and the new one's won't install without the old ones being uninstalled. |

I'm debating on installing Vista 64 on the boys rig. 8000ppd would be nice out of that GS.
My 780i is on the way back from eVGA, it needs to hurry!!!! |

What do you do if you have a friend that you know is lying about stuff (example: saying that he drove a plane in GTA 4), but when you say he's wrong he denies it? I get in arguments over what's the best alot lol, but I don't want to just call him a liar. |

Do some research first and make sure its absolute bs. I tend to keep a close eye on liars, if they lie about little stuff eventually they will lie about something bigger. Or he could just be razzing you, I guess it depends on how close you guys are to. |
