Thumbs up Finally after a long wait.

Foxconn A79A-S AM2+/AM2 AMD 790FX ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail
    Quad PCI-e Gen2 w/ SB 750, AOD Extreme, DTS

Finally after a long wait, I ordered above from Newegg. I've been facing recent employment issues... or lack thereof. It was $85.00 off regular price ($224) $139+s/h. I will get back into folding soon. Will be coupled with a 7750, 2 ATI 4670 plus my other rig should be up as well.

I was in the middle of a home re-model and work dropped off to nothing, it's a pisser when you are contract labor, LOL, well still occasional work in my primary area (construction) but found a part-time, work at home contract job that pays pretty damn good. Actually making more as part-time than I was full time, go figure right, it's called motivation since it is per job.

See ya'll in the folding world soon! Max_C

Thanks, it is a load off of my mind to be back to work. I was lucky and after being very conservative in my budgeting I did not have to touch my retirement savings.

    Good for you Max, congrats.

Glad the plan worked out for you, better to have a paddle than not having one.

Let's go crunching, we need it.

I was wondering what happened to you.Nice to have you back.
And I feel your pain on the whole "employment issues". I'm a contractor to, and haven't been working for the last couple weeks.
Glad to hear it's looking up for you.

KK, if I remember correctly you do custom framing, right now the housing industry sux, even in the Houston area. But, things are beginng to improve in the territory I work in, the only thing is it will be 3 to 6 months before my services will be really in heavy demand.
As inventory decreases more new starts are showing up. I'm lucky in that I do work (weather stripping) for a lot of different companies. Village/Lennar, DR Horton, Brighton/Khovnian, David Weekley, J. Patrick and various custom builders. When you go from working 5/6 days a week to 1 day a week it hits pretty damn hard.
The Co. that I contract to is working on some things to increase work(more custom doors), maybe I'll get lucky and move up to the custom door section, where the real money is.

Yea max trying not to say the obvious, it is still nice to hear things are picking up in some parts of the country. Hopefully it spreads out soon enough for the rest of the country.

    Boy that's the truth E.
I've been calling and driving around, and there is hardly anything going on in town here. I know some remodels are, and we just got a round of twisters lastnight that always helps business (unfortunately), but nothing still.
I'm looking into other areas of work now though, hopefully something pans out there.
Glad you found something though Max. Hopefully everything is on the up and up from now on.

Just been to busy to get the box up and running properly. Got all the hardware/os and client installed, just have to get another shelf to put all the boxes. My part-time job is about to become a full-time work at home job. Still contract labor, but the $ will see a substantial increase. IF I DECIDE TO GO FOR IT! The company I've been working for has been impressed with the volume and quality of the work so they have asked me to work 100% for them. It's a great opprotunity, I can make in one day what I would normally make in three or four days. Decisions, decisions....

In addition no long daily drive anymore! a big plus! What do you guys and gals think, I need some help here making this choice...

In the near future might be able to afford a butler, but I'd prefer a nude maid since I'm SINGLE, LOL
