Hangers work great for the bows, I prefer 12g copper wire for connecting the Bows together. So easy to just start a screw in the board and the wrap the copper wire around it, and eliminate the washer. When i get to the middle where the Balun will be I sink a screw in and wrap it as well.

oooooohhhhh, that was a nice drive up to Alexandria today, took the shorter of the 3 routes up there, an the most scenic on our route... between 2 of the towns up there,
if I win the lottery or ever get a good paying job in the coming 10+ years, this is one of the "local" areas I want to move to... if still around this area/part of the state though. 3M has a plant up in Alexandria north of Glenwood, so they have some decent size business's etc up there, including Alexandria Technical College (a lot of Engineering, Networking, IT, Law Enforcement etc Technical programs up there, my coworker I built the AMD X2 system for, that's where he's going to school at)
add in the Gamestop store up there is a million times better than the Willmar Store LOL... climate controlled interior, twice the size (though looks smaller from outside the store), was perusing the used GBA games, and they have about 10 times more, the displays are neater and cleaner looking layouts, etc, its just an overall better looking/feeling store, not the overcrowded crammed dimly lit pawn shop feel of the local one. still couldn't find Neverwinter Nights 2 though, but they do have the 2 expansions for it, asked the guy there and he said he's pretty sure if he remembers right Gamestop took it out of their system, so chances are thats why I can't find it at either. and agreed my best bet is checking Amazon.com or someplace like that.
anyways, here's the stretch along the lake I was talking about, My brother/Sister In law and the kids go up here for swimming, fishing and camping once or twice a year...
from: Glenwood, MN to: Starbuck, MN - Google Maps
its just I'm not used to driving along the road from one town to the other, and the lake is along side the whole way, all 8+ miles...
on the way home we took another route to Willmar, so mom could check her work schedule and I could get my prescription filled.
but along the east end of the lake along Highway 55 (move the map over and you'll see 55, not 104, but 55), there's some incredibly scenic areas, houses, etc, overlooking down in to the valley where the lake sits, obviously a former glacial valley or depression of some sort, but you're easily a couple hundred feet above the lake from up there if not more, and can see clear across the lake to Starbuck's end.
granted the willmar area has Green lake, north of it, with an amazing long ride around the lake, one of the area's biggest lakes, but, the Glenwood/Starbuck area, the lake is just LOOOOOOONG, and the fact that Green lake could fit into the whole northeast half of Lake Minnewaska, it must be a nice lake during summer for boating and fishing.

but, we shopped at the Big K Kmart up there (our town only has a regular one), Walmart Superstore (some better looking depts and displays and minor changes to layout of store than the one "back home", considering our store is the newer of the two), and the dinky little Target store across the way.
picked up 4 more Hotwheels Monster Jam Monster Trucks my Nephew collects and plays with (the kid has a list of ones he wants 10 feet long LOL), ran into my brother when we got backed to Willmar at Cub Foods where he works, and told him, said my he'll love me for life when he finds out I got the Ninja Turtles Truck and Superman, along with Donkey Kong and the other one (forget which one).
but also found Gene Roddenberry's Earth: Final Conflict Season 1 on DVD at Target for $30 so bought that for myself, was going to soon anyways, but for $30 would be cheaper than had I gone through Amazon after shipping.
Season 1 was just recently released in past months due to legal issues of ownership over seasons 1 & 2, between studios being resolved or settled, but years ago Seasons 3, 4 & I think 5 (if there was one, I forget, since It was taken off air locally around season 4).
