anyways, not much new here, while at work yesterday another piece of enamel broke on one of my teeth that needs some work done on it anyways. its been a bit loose for a while now, and piece on back chipped off, so am looking at making an appointment today for tomorrow if I can.
at least get some info on what needs to be done.
sad part about this part of the state, not sure how it is out near the cities, but out here almost NO dentists accept or take MinnesotaCare medical coverage for just about anything, usually most that need work done on teeth have to head to one of the Smile Centers in the state
The Smile Center - Let us put a SMILE on your face!
closest is Big Lake, for me anyways, so its an hour+ drive at least.
as it is I'm looking at needing a partial bridge soon with this latest tooth
at least, I'd like to get the implant thing done, but the cost is so much more.
anyways, also have to have 3 wisdom teeth removed, only grew 3 instead of 4 in my teens... so saves some cost there LOL...
but the Ucare mobile dental facility is in town this week, see if I can't stop in for a "check up" and advice on what needs to be done?
anyways with this latest incident (just got one debt paid, and don't want to add another to the list), I've decided I am going to sell the old Q6600 Quad system if I can, won't be a full system, since its lacking an OS, PSU, and Hard drives, but will be the Case, Mobo, CPU, Cooler, RAM, GPU (either the 9800GTX or Radeon 4830), DVD Burner, Flash media/Floppy drive.
so for anyone interested Let me know, still have to figure out pricing on the stuff, but won't be doing that until I get the i7 system up and running hopefully this week.
but current specs of what will be in the old system is this.

If I remember right the Flash reader is a Mitsumi brand, has most of the major flash card formats and a 3.5" floppy drive in one bay (3.5", requires connection to USB 2.0 internal port as well as a Floppy port, floppy drive is housed in same casing but seperate from USB device)
Video card will most likely be the EVGA 9800GTX 512MB (gets between 3 & 5K PPD in F@H on average, or used to, haven't checked recently though), but if someone wants a less power demanding card I can put in the lower Powercolor Radeon 4830 512MB (4830 competes with the 9800GT).
All parts have never been OC'd, at least from me, the 9800GTX was a refurb/recertified from newegg, the 4830 was an Open Box from newegg.
the rest of the parts have been bought new when I purchased them, except the case, which was refurb recently from Coolermaster.
just figured I'd throw this out there for anyone looking for a good quad core rig, going to be looking for the $400-ish range with the 9800GTX for it if I can.
but as said needs a PSU and hard drive as well as choice of OS for buyer to get themselves.
