[F@H Chat 6-7-09] Where is everyone???

Time for a new thread and all the kids aren't around.

Back to playing with the Grandson's for me.

BTW, Gabriel is now up and crunching . . . with an XFX 8800GT Alpha Dog. (He got the Dog out of mine . . . which was replaced with a 250GS. )

    Umm... no comment
I still have a GX2 going, but that's about it anymore. Eventually I'll get the Quad going, with the GT's I have.
Oh and btw harder, it's GTS 250.

Wow, didn't realize I was so wore out from work this weekend, finally fell asleep 4AM ish today, woke up around 1PM, slept through with out waking once, got something to eat, watched some TV and a DVD, then went in for another nap around 2:45PM, just woke up about 6:10PM... NOW, I feel much more better and rested.

but, its time for supper, then on to playing online to boost my stats some more (clan reset their stats finally on our one server, 2 Nights ago I finally got on the stats with a 616:1 K/D Ratio, last night it dropped to 34:1 but I more than doubled my kill count... ), oh well, once they get their input for idea with the stats (spacing of awards point levels, etc etc... then they'll reset them again, and be good for another year or so. but as it is, our servers host keeps resetting their damn ports on the server so it breaks the link to our stats page on our site. luckily one of our members has his own server that keeps it linked.

Joint Operations. IC mod & SnA Mod.

though many of our members are slowly switching over to BF2 and the newer AIX coop mod. simply due to the fact that less and less good maps are coming out for the older IC mod, and almost nil for SnA mod, most coming out for IC:Europe mod, which is a good mod, but apparently too many of our members have "issues" with the damn thing because its too realistic in only SOME of its features, like disabling or destroying an enemy tank with only 1 or 2 shells from your tank, apparently they like the more unrealistic IC mod with 3 or more shells to take out a tank. 2 to 3 full clips on the M82 Barret to destroy or disable an enemy light armor personnel carrier like a BTR.

    oh well.

but they haven't gotten around to running an IC:E server yet, at least not full time.

hopefully that'll change once our one member with the SnA server gets my old Quad core.

(oh and forgot, I got admin rights to the servers, since I noticed the SnA server was the only one linked to the stats from the website, and no one was in it last night, I went and loaded a map with a crap load of enemy, killed a few hundred, then cycled the map LOL, stats got recorded and managed to get that K/D Ratio ... serves some right, after they reset the stats, then racked up a shit load of kills and stats, THEN posted to the forums that the stats were reloaded and start anew a couple hours later... so they can secure their position on them)

Ohhh goody gumdrops for KB article searching. I found out the problem i was having with my kiosk builds was because ive been installing .net 1.1 and it breaks the autologin im using with Steady State because of the stupid asp.net local account thats created.

Thankfully ... tested out this fix on a KB and it freaking works ... Now i can do it to my home computer and stop having to log in every damn time i blue screen.

Anyone figure out how to run the original KOTOR on modern hardware successfully?

    Well guys . . . I did another upgrade today . . . and wifey's PISSED!!

Got a deal on an 8K BTU portable A/C unit for the garage. Now the herd should get a little relief for the summer. It was over 90 in the garage when I set it up, so I set it to 78 and we'll see what happens. If it can't keep the heat down in the garage this summer, I'll have to get some plastic and block off the herd's area for cooling while the rest can stay hot.

Er... I'm here... (not that anyone cares for a small little newb, but still).
My computer still continues to fail, and I really don't feel like dealing with it anymore. *sighs* That's what I get for having an old computer and not trusting Vista. (Being BROKE may have something to do with this too, yes?)

Anyone not given up on The Sims 3 yet?

Cool, seems my Brother (one in the Air Force) him and some of his buds down there, are seriously looking into putting together an Airsoft team for competition stuff, something to do with WWII era reenactments or something along those lines. apparently there's something going on up here in Minnesota or around here this summer, he's trying to see if he can get leave for. plus with D-Day anniversary the other day, he called up asking our mom about her uncles that served in military during WWII, one that died at Normandy, and the other that had a more "cushy job" (according to her dad LOL) during WWII, both served in the Army, but Grandpa was in Navy in Pacific. something to do with wanting to know if she still had any info as to what units he was with etc, so they could get accurate badges and what not for the uniforms.

luckily with my resourcefulness on the web, I managed to dig up some info on both of her uncles, which was a bit more than she had to go on (she couldn't remember somethings, and the rest was still packed in boxes somewhere from when we moved 5 or so years ago), so printed it out, and she was going to email or mail the info to my brother.
