| Folding on dual GPU's windows 7
Hey dude's
Just got me a second 260.
All set up in SLI runs great.
Now to the problem.
I have got Folding at home set up with 2 gpu client's running. I know that you need to have a monitor connected to each GPU (or a little mod). I have both clients running currently with '-gpu 0' on one and '-gpu 1' the thing is one GPU (the original) is currently running at the speeds while the second is running at 300mhz core as it was idling any ideas?
Thanks to Karma for helping me get this far.

thought it won't run with SLI enabled?
thats what a certain little bird (here at TIMO) had said one time...?
try disabling SLI and let them run independently.

Sorry forgot to mention SLI has been turned off They still have the bridge though I doubt that will make any difference.
Here you can see the first under load and the second on idle.

NVM all fixed. Re-installed drivers (Well downloaded new ones). Atleast if anyone else comes across this here is the answer.
See.... both cores under load. |

Aaron,
Interested in what O/S you are running. I bought my first "mini" PC but it's XP Pro with 1GB mem so it's folding fine and getting 5K WU's. ( a lot of my new duo core machines are getting 5K WU's ) And yep, these are the famous ATOM cpu's running at 1.6.
Would I be better off converting my new Vista Premium, 2 CPU, 3GB mem to RC7? notebook, sitting on a cooling pad )
Thanks,

Thanks, | It makes sense that a Atom processor does fairly well because this is the type of in order processing that it excels at. I would even put money on your complete lack of ability to do anything while it is folding because of its inherent lack of out of order processing. |
