Yeah, I normally have to rip the battery out about once a week - but much more often when the site/s I browse to have lots of scripts and schtuffs that the BlackBerry seems to cache for longer than messy-celery (say it out loud, and fast) which means I either have to clear the cache manually - which normally means that my 'bookmarks' no longer work, as the cookie has been wiped; or do a full restart...
Anyway, boarding now...!!

All but two of my crunchers are used... That's the reason I only set them to crunch with a small %age of each core (and use every core - except for the quad-core that I thought was a dual...)
Only two of my 'cows' run at 100%, my old W2k3 SBS (that I powered back up purely to crunch, it has pretty much all other services disabled) and an old 'shuttle' machine I acquired from work when they were about to bin it... Fair enough, I think both of those only have low ratings for CPU and RAM - 1GB each from memory - but I'm not going to spend anything to improve them....
My work PC also runs at up to 100%ish but I also run a CPU hungry (storage, not %age) application, and I'm often doing support calls too........... |

As I think I've said before, the guy next to me (another engineer) folds for me on his work PC - although only as he hasn't worked out how to do anything other than stop the service/s...
And to think he's 'technically' second line, compared to me being 'first line'... Seriously, if I had a quid for every time I've given him advice to fix an issue, I'd prolly have enough to extend my hols from only 7 days...!!!
The other guy at my work who folds for me isn't even aware of it...!! He's a 3rd liner (qualifried with the latest "MCITP" or whatever the equivalent to the MCSE is) but he prolly doesn't notice as he's the one with the quad-core machine...even when two of his cores are running at 60%... |

Wtf kind of fun is that now.
It's okay we still have nunya and shyguy being a space cadet. When is the last time he posted a war and peace posting???
Makes you wonder how much folding he wasted trying to post. Why can't be like you? "Oooops, its dead.!!!"
ps I think she is busy playing right now. Quote:
